Inspired by Psychiatrist Bruno Bettelheim's famous book, The Uses of Enchantment, the musical INTO THE WOODS reveals the true intended meaning of fairy-tales by intertwining a collection of uncensored versions of 18th century Brothers Grimm fairy tales, creating an original story involving a Baker and his Wife's quest to begin a family, also tying together the stories of Little Red Ridinghood, Jack of Jack and the Beanstalk, Rapunzel, and Cinderella.
INTO THE WOODS, contains mature themes. Parental guidance for younger children is advised.
