2008 - 2009 Series: Jason Peterson The Cajun Strangers Ancora String Quartet Members of this Madison based quartet are delighted to share their passion for chamber music with the musical public. Selections range from baroque composers such as Bach and Handel, to classical composers such as Mozart and Haydn, to romantic composers such as Beethoven and Brahms with the addition of lighter music such as Strauss waltzes, and more contemporary selections by composers such as Cream and The Indigo Girls. Ken Waldman – Fiddling Poet Saturday, February 21, 2009 at 7:30 p.m. Waldman combines a vital, raw-edged Appalachian-styled fiddle with unpretentious, conversational poem-stories of everyday Alaskan life. His concerts of fiddle tunes, poems, and stories about life in Alaska might tempt you to plan a road trip with a journal tucked under one arm and a fiddle under the other. Rudolf’s Beach Party Want to have a great time? Want to hear Jimmy Buffet hits or an old Harry Belafonte tune?
